Budget: 554.000 PLN (including 168 000 PLN for 2 Ph.D. stipends)



The main objective of the Project:
Identification and characterization of new immune evasion strategies exploited by herpesviruses. Scientific goals of
the Project focus on two main research areas:
1. Molecular mechanism of BHV-1-encoded UL49.5/gM activity
2. Immune evasion properties of alphaherpesvirus US3 protein
